Vinny has a history of inspirational public speaking engagements. Ever since the second year after his spinal cord injury in 1977, he has spoken before a varied range of groups, older and younger. Integlia’s public speaking has included:



-Radio Show - 1030KVOI.com. Spoke on issuees facing the disabled.

-Consumer Direct Healthcare Agency - Histoory of living life from a wheelchair.

-The Oro Valley Public Library on Overcomiing Obstacles

-Wade Carpender Middle School - combined ttotal 430 7th and 8th graders For more information visit the Gear Up's website

-Speaking to two seperate groups: 160 and 180 8th and 9th graders at Desert Shadows Middle School (Gear Up Program)

-170 8th and 9th grade students in Cataliaa middle school enrolled in the Gear-Up program. Aprendiendo Por Vida GEAR UP is a grant from the United States Department of Education, awarded to Santa Cruz County for a 2nd time in 2005, which will follow all Nogales and Rio Rico students in the Class of 2011, through their Middle and High School years supporting them in their academic venture, helping them to properly prepare for and attend post-secondary education such as College, Trade Schools, or the Military. -Sunstone Cancer Support Center’s 6th annuual “October Tea.” The event is composed of cancer survivors. Integlia was the event’s first male speaker.

-Smaller, young Catholic groups on surviviing and living life in a wheelchair

-Church groups of 50-250 people on achieviing personal and academic goals

-High School students on surviving a catasstrophic injury as a family

-Academic educators on the content of a maanuscript currently being marketed to agents

-Several Independent Living conferences onn personal achievements

Since Vinny has survived his recent challenge of cancer, he passionately wants to share his experiences and observations with audiences. As of May, 2006, he is available to speak with groups.
